ArticlesHow to dress after your baby is born
Author: tlsos
Once your baby is born, you will not immediately return to your prepregnancy weight. This will take diet, exercise, and self control. But justbecause you are not as thin as you used to be does not mean that youcannot dress fashionably until the weight comes off.
There are a few simpleways to dress your body after giving birth. • Wear your maternity clothes. If you lost a little weight during labor, then you may be able to wear maternity clothing from the earlymonths of your pregnancy. Try everything to see what fits and whatdoesn’t. You should not throw away pre-pregnancy clothing, as youmay be able to wear it again. • Do not settle for just wearing maternity or causal clothing forever.Make goals and stick to them when trying to lose weight. In themeantime, wear clothing that makes you feel confident and proud tobe a parent and a woman. • Look into nursing clothes as an alternative to maternity wear. Theseclothes will make nursing your baby a lot easier as they are loosefitting and comfortable. Nursing shirts are available in many differentcolors and styles and you can wear them with pants and skirts. • Invest in a nursing bra as your breasts will be swollen and may not fitinto your other bras. • When looking for clothing to wear, choose darker colors because theywill hide stains, and make your body appear smaller.Shopping for maternity wear does not have to be a struggle as long as youdecide on your budget, where you want to shop, and make a list of all theessential items you will need during pregnancy. Maternity clothing can bestylish and practical at the same time if you know how to put an outfittogether using new clothing, used clothing, and oversized clothing.Source:http://ucantmisshealth.com/womens-health/4-womens-health/183-how-to-dress-after-your-baby-is-born.html Date Added: July 11, 2008 06:07:38 AM
